Meet the Team - Heather Bennett
Updated: Feb 16

Welcome to the nineteenth in our series of team interviews. Each month, we’ll be asking a member of our team to tell us more about them and their involvement with rradar. This month, it’s time to hear about office manager, Heather Bennett.
How and when did you first become involved with rradar?
I started working for rradar in summer 2017 and I was made to feel like part of the family immediately! Everyone is so welcoming and passionate in what they do; it is infectious and makes it a great place to be.
Who/what was the biggest influence on your decision to work at rradar?
I did some research into the company when I found out I had the interview. I was bowled over with their website and achievements so far. I saw the huge potential the business possesses and how forward thinking they are. I was extremely excited to see if they thought I fitted in as I saw it as a perfect fit!
What was your first impression of the company?
rradar definitely does things differently and this really hit a chord with me. It is great to find a company with a fresh approach and a real client-centred approach to law.
What have you found to be the most surprising/challenging aspect of working for rradar?
The business moves so quickly as it grows and this has been the most challenging aspect of my role. It means every day is different and you never know what the next exciting move is going to be!
What would you tell someone who is thinking about working for rradar?
Do it!
How do you see rradar developing over the next five years?
rradar is going from strength to strength and will continue to grow and develop for many years to come. I am excited to be part of that growth and cannot wait to see what the future holds for the business. rradar is paving the way with regards to advice in the legal sector and the technology we are producing is the first of its kind in the industry. I am eager to see what is next and where it goes from here.
If you weren’t working for rradar, what would you be doing instead?
It sounds cliché, but I cannot see myself anywhere else! There is nowhere quite like rradar and I am proud to be part of a ground-breaking company at such a crucial time in its development.
How would someone describe you?
I am passionate and enthusiastic. I love to get stuck in with any task that needs completing and I am not afraid to get my hands dirty when needs be. I try and ensure I bring a great atmosphere to the team and make the working environment as upbeat as possible.
Surprise us with a little-known fact about you and/or your profession
I actually have a degree in Marketing and find rradar is the perfect place for me to utilise the skills gained with us having a design department. Even though it is not directly within my role, the team is open to suggestions and support when needed and this allows me to be involved in another side of the business as well as administration.
What inspires you that you think other people should know?
I am inspired by seeing and helping other people succeed. I pride myself on being a ‘doer’ and getting things implemented and changed. It is inspiring to see these changes effectively utilised and feeling like I have made a difference to someone’s day. I feel like the best inspiration comes from the people around you. I have some super passionate colleagues who will give a project their all to see it succeed and this really makes me proud.
What do you do when you aren’t working?
I enjoy going to the gym and keeping fit with activities and sports. I also have two dogs, who I love to take to the beach, countryside and parks for long walks, no matter the weather!
You’re on a desert island and you can take one album, one book and one film with you. What do you take?
I would take the new Imagine Dragons album, Angels and Demons by Dan Brown and Alien. Though I am not sure Alien is a good choice when stranded alone on a desert island!
