National Living Wage & National Minimum Wage Rate Increases

Are you aware of the increases announced in the rates for the National Living Wage and National Minimum Wage?
From April 2019, the National Living Wage (NLW), applicable to all workers aged 25 and over, increases from £7.83 an hour to £8.21.
National Minimum Wage rates will also increase for lower age brackets:
21-24 year olds from £7.38 to £7.70 per hour
18-20 year olds from £5.90 to £6.15 per hour
16-17 year olds from £4.20 to £4.35 per hour
Apprentices aged under 19 or over 19 and in first year of their apprenticeship, will see their rate rise from £3.70 to £3.90 per hour
