rradar Highly Commended at the Corporate Entrepreneur Awards 2017
Updated: Feb 16

rradar is delighted to announce that it was Highly Commended at the 8th annual Market Gravity Corporate Entrepreneur Awards.
The awards, held on 23rd November 2017 at the Design Museum, London, were attended by over 300 corporate innovators from over 100 of the world’s biggest brands. Unusually, the award shortlist was arrived at after a public vote and the winners were then selected by expert judges.
Present to accept the award was rradar CEO and founder Gary Gallen, accompanied by guests including Jack Hurdidge and Emma Titmus from the ELITE programme at the London Stock Exchange Group.
rradar was nominated in the Best New Proposition in Financial Services category for its work in co-operation with insurance giant AXA in producing rradargrace, an innovative new app using IBM Watson technology to provide clients with accessible and responsive legal information at the touch of a button. Downloadable onto mobile devices including smartphones and tablets and voice-responsive, rradargrace has been preloaded with hundreds of HR and H&S questions and answers written by the company’s expert lawyers and advisers.
The nomination also recognised rradar’s core service, rradarstation. This provides an AXA MLP policyholder with access to an online portal that enables them to call and email our advisory teams directly for legally privileged support, as well as our online library of fully customisable business templates and checklists to help manage/minimise HR breaches and claims.
rradar was up against over thirty national and international companies, including Vodafone, the AA, TSB, NatWest, HSBC, TalkTalk, Direct Line and British Gas. There were three winners and three highly commended.
rradar was described as a “gamechanging” new business “pioneering” new levels of service, access and quality advice to SMEs across the UK who desperately need support and high levels of advice.
Gary, who won the Viking FM Entrepreneur of the Year on 10th November, said:
“A lot of hard work has gone into creating rradargrace and rradarstation and we’re delighted that the efforts of everybody involved have been recognised with this award. I think it shows that the service rradar delivers is truly innovative and ground-breaking.
“The award highlights the commitment that everyone at rradar puts into making sure that clients get the best possible service for their businesses. Education and empowerment are our watchwords, enabling us to give the law back to the people.”
rradar has been having a fantastic 2017 – moving into a brand-new HQ building on the Beacon development, six significant award wins and membership in the London Stock Exchange Group’s ELITE business support programme – the first law firm in the world to do so. Gary has also appeared as a speaker at several national and international events on Artificial Intelligence and technology.
The company is also shortlisted in two categories at the Insurance Times Awards in December and in two categories at the Modern Law Awards in January 2018.
