rradar is Cyber Essentials certified
Updated: Feb 16

New Government statistics reveal that almost half of UK firms have experienced a cyber breach or attack in the past year. Government analysis of these figures, alongside the feedback from industry vulnerability testers, identified that simple security controls are often not being applied, leaving companies vulnerable to threat actors with low levels of technical capability.
It may leave you wondering whether the services you’re using are safe – not to mention your business. A simple virus or piece of malware could not only result in company or client data loss, disruption of the cashflow and staff time but also damage your company’s reputation. Loss of data could breach the Data Protection Act and lead to fines or even prosecution. The issue becomes even more complicated with the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) coming into operation in 2018.
rradar prides itself on being a proactive and innovative company, providing a trustworthy and friendly legal service to its clients. We believe in educating our clients about the best ways to manage risks and prevent legal claims and one of the ways to do so is leading by example.

On that note, we are excited to announce that rradar is now Cyber Essentials certified!
The certification protects rradar against common cyber threats and verifies that essential security controls are in place. It involves five security controls that, according to the UK Government, could prevent around 80% of cyber attacks.
These controls allow rradar to focus on the core business objectives, which in turn drive business efficiency throughout the organisation and save money.
