rradar places 19th in Northern Tech Top 100

Updated: Feb 16

rradar is delighted to announce that it has achieved a very high placement in the Northern Tech Top 100, a listing of the fastest-growing tech companies in the North of England. The awards took place on 30th March at the Boiler Shop, Newcastle upon Tyne – a popular entertainment venue.

CEO Gary Gallen attended on behalf of the company and rubbed shoulders with such tech luminaries as David Rowan, the editor of Wired UK, Jacqueline de Rojas, Managing Director, Sage plc, Mark Sebba, former CEO of Net-a-Porter, Richard Flint, CEO of Sky Bet, Carol Kane, CEO of Boohoo, Richard Law, CEO of GB Group and Angela Spindler, CEO of N Brown Group plc.

After receiving the award for 19th place in the Northern Tech Top 100, Gary said

“The idea of a law firm embracing modern technology may come as a bit of a surprise – it’s not what most people expect when they think of lawyers – but at rradar, we believe that if we don’t do it ourselves, companies like Google will move in and do it instead. Tech isn’t something to be afraid of. It doesn’t put humans out of work. It just reframes where humans provide the true value, using technology to create bridges of trust.”

rradar has put cutting edge technology into practice to enable it to provide information, advice and education to its clients, businesses who are worried about legal compliance and the consequences of regulatory breaches. Later this year, it will be launching its latest initiative – a virtual legal assistant, available on an easy-to-understand app. Known as rradargrace, it will provide legal information any hour of the day or night, anywhere the client needs it. Developed in co-operation with tech giant IBM, it’s a perfect example of how rradar intends to keep moving forward at the forefront of legal provision.
