Have you completed or are currently completing your LPC or SQE1? Then you're in the right place! Apply to be a trainee solicitor here at rradar.
Challenging. Exciting. Unique.
rradar is a different type of law firm that is at the forefront of legal services innovation. rradar's training programme gives its trainees access and experience to a diverse commercial client base across all industry sectors ranging from small owner-managed businesses to large multinational corporates and trainees will be exposed to complex and high-profile clients and work through a unique partnership with a major global insurer. You will be mentored by our lawyers and teams with significant experience and expertise across specialist practice areas.
The work we do is exciting and unique, and we are working on some of the biggest cases in the UK with high media profiles.
Our Culture and Values
Our values are a critical part of rradar and the company we are building. We have looked long and hard at what we would like to be and how we are going to get there.
One of the most important things we focussed on was a set of values and principles that summed us up.
Our values represent something that we can share, shape our culture and our people and what we’re striving to achieve – not just tomorrow, or next week, but next year and in ten years’ time.
What It Involves
A rewarding experience.
As a rradar trainee, you will experience three to four seats on a six-month rotation, experiencing a mix of contentious and non-contentious work across a broad spectrum of commercial practice areas, including our Legal Advice Service, Employment, Commercial Disputes, Business Crime & Regulatory, Intellectual Property and Cyber Data and Information Law.
We’re looking for people who don’t have boundaries when it comes to what they want from a job and what they’re prepared to achieve. We want people who are willing to roll up their sleeves and put in the effort.
We want mould-breakers, visionaries, rebels and disruptors. We’re going to shake things up and we want you to help us. If you think you’ve got what it takes, we think we’ve got what you’re looking for.
My Experience: Richard Beschizza
“Being a trainee is challenging, but in all the right ways. You’ll be provided with a rewarding experience and given the responsibility and opportunities to really prove and test your abilities. You’ll never feel out of your depth as you’ll be provided with bespoke close one-on-one supervision in each respective seat along with overall regular monitoring and assistance with your training principal.
Importantly, the exposure you’ll have and the level of work you engage in will be extremely broad. The exclusive relationship rradar has with a leading global insurer will provide you with an unprecedented exposure to unique and growing areas of legal work. For instance, one day you could be assigned to draft details of engagement and the next you could be assisting a Senior Solicitor and Counsel at a Manslaughter trial - this uniqueness is what draws many to train with rradar.
Most conventional training contracts will see you engage in purely legal work. rradar is different in many respects as you’ll also be given the opportunity to play an active role in marketing and business development for the firm where your voice is heard whilst working alongside like minded individuals in a warm and welcoming environment.”
